 Alberta ASCD's Mission

The critical areas;
  • Provide programs, products, and services that meet changing member needs through innovative formats and stimulating educational dialogue.
  • Continue to build a growing membership that reflects the diversity of the province.
  • Foster an effective communication network that is responsive to educational issues.
  • Act as a clear, well-respected voice advocating sound teaching and learning.
  • Recognize and celebrate innovative teaching practices of Alberta educators.

 

 I joined the ASCD to play a more active role in spreading the message of educating the whole child.
