What we see is that its all about why you are in the room.
To have a life with meaning and purpose you need to do work that has
meaning and purpose. Living that value means making a commitment to
greatness. Greatness is a choice, it does not happen by itself, or
result from being along for the ride.
The Alberta ASCD and the synergies that result from the
relationships created between members does not happen without a
deliberate effort. Without an Executive, there is no Alberta ASCD,
translating into less synergies, less breakthroughs, less refinement in
thinking or programs.
The Executive is a space for people who see the value this group can
bring to the lives of teachers, students and even their parents. To be
sustainable we need people who value the Alberta ASCD enough to
contribute their time and effort.
