You can help us by nominating one or more individuals, teaching teams, departments, schools or jurisdictions who exemplify innovative practice in their work with students or colleagues in one of the areas. Nominated projects/activities should have demonstrated results in improving teaching practice and student learning.  Please consider all educators with whom you have been associated.  Those recognized will have their successes published in educational publications, such as the Alberta ASCD Scanner.  This way, others may contact them in order to benefit from their research and experience.

Who is driving the bus

As an association dedicated to the advancement of education, the Alberta Affiliate of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (AASCD) has adopted the following mission statement: ‘Alberta ASCD, an affiliate of ASCD International, is a diverse community of educators committed to quality public education.  We provide to our membership professional development opportunities that result in improved teaching and learning.’  The Alberta ASCD would like to recognize the successes of the selected educators and their contributions to learning throughout the province.
